The rebuild is about to begin in Buffalo.

I was happy to take the Sabres when we re-started this league.  Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart, Rasmus Ristolainen and Linus Ullmark.  Not a bad group of veterans to build around.  But just one season later, all 4 of those core players would be gone.  I went from hanging a Jack Eichel jersey in my office to hoping that he gets hit by a bus.

So once the calendar hits 2022, be prepared to check your inbox for offers.  The Sabres have a bunch of useful players at all positions which could change the balance of power in the TUFHL.

Risto, Pavelski, Reinhart, Kadri, Montour, Ullmark, Duchene and even Jack Eichel are expected to hit the Trade Block.

The future of the Sabres will include players like Tage Thompson, Dylan Cozens, Ukka Pekka Luukkonen and recently drafted players such as Hendrix Lapierre and Ryan Johnson.  Buffalo already has 11 picks in the 2022 Draft and look to add more picks and prospects to what will definitely be a long rebuild.
