Anaheim, CA - Ducks squeek into the 8th spot by playing well at home, despite lack of offense after dealing away Malkin and Burakovsky this season.
This sets up a very tough matchup with the Avalanche in round one. In speaking with coach Eakins today, he believes the Ducks will need to have a great Defensive effort in order to clamp down a great offensive Avs team.
Although this will be a tough series for the Ducks to win, the games are played on the ice, so let's see how this goes.
